About the Album:

You can count the number of times over two centuries that I have played my own music in concert on one hand. Why? I hadn’t found the right opportunity.

The Union Pool concert put together by Jacob Gorchev was the perfect chance to play for an audience that knew my music and why they were there. It is not a repeat of the recordings and has a life of its own.
